SO DOES THIS MEAN RAMBALDI WAS A JEDI?  Multiple reports now claim that Star Wars: Episode 7 will be directed by J.J. Abrams, with Ben Affleck having been the other finalist.  Abrams' filmography is admittedly not all that long, but is pretty darn impressive for what it is.  I'm certainly intrigued, though what this means for the great Star Wars/Star Trek conflict remains uncertain.

Episode VII will actually turn out to also be the next Star Trek sequel, and finally answer the question of Star Destroyer vs. Enterprise. The story will be adapted from Usenet by Academy Award-winning screenwriter Michael Arndt.

  2. I'm cautiously optimistic about the idea of Abrams directing Episode IV.

Clearly he's a secret agent for the Star Trek contingent - he took this job to screw up the movie and finally have Star Trek declared the winner of the decades-long conflict.

And someone here was just saying that Jennifer Garner needs to work more . . .
